A Wedding and a Gender Reveal | Audubon Tree of Life Wedding

This wedding was nothing short of incredible. It was planned and designed by the amazingly efficient and organized team at Elyse Jennings Weddings (planning) and pulled off by the great team of New Orleans wedding vendors they assembled.

There were many well thought out details and personal touches throughout this wedding day. A few of my favorites were the gorgeous wooden pews set up under the Audubon Tree of Life during their ceremony, the Phish (band) bobble heads setup on their king cake, and the most awesome gender reveal during the cake cutting.
Scroll down for the images of that.
Like for real.
The black and white reaction shot is one of my most favorite wedding candids I've ever captured.

My new favorite spot | The Station Coffee

Love a good neighborhood coffee shop! The Station is my new favorite spot for coffee in Mid-City. Great neighborhood, lots of character and charm all around this place.

They have great coffees and pastries. I go for the double espresso with a shot of vanilla. Yea, I know it's weird and different, but it's so good!!!

If you're in the area, I def recommend you stop in for a cup. Bonus likes if you like unicorns! (You'll understand when you go!)

The Station is located at 4400 Bienville in Mid-City. Couple blocks from both Canal and Carrollton.

Stand here and do.. what? | French Quarter Engagement Session

I had a blast photographing Bailee and Ryan's engagement session. We met in the Bywater near that big rusty pedestrian bridge and got to photographing not long after.

My engagement sessions are very chill. It's about you, the couple. I try my best to pull out your personalities while documenting your reactions to each other. Prompts like, "whisper her favorite dessert into her ear in your sexiest voice" is along the lines of what you should expect to hear from me before I activate my camera's shutter mechanism like a mad man.

It's quite obvious that Bailee and Ryan had a blast with each other on the shoot and got some really incredible, personal photographs out of it that they can treasure for the rest of their lives.

Now on to the images!
Oh also, Kelly Massicot over at Renaissance Publishing (New Orleans Bride, St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans Magazine) wrote a much more well written blog post about their images on the Let Them Eat Cake Wedding Blog on Myneworleans.com. Check out her word skills by clicking the link above.

Throwback Thursday | Audubon Clubhouse Wedding

A throwback to Angie and Paul's fairytale wedding on the gorgeous grounds of the Audubon Clubhouse. Luminous did an incredible job setting the mood with beautiful decor and romantic candle light.
Check out their images below!

Oh! And yesterday was their anniversary! Happy Anniversary Angie & Paul!!!

LOVE their final photo of the night. Sitting on the curb, cowboy boots on, hitchin a ride.

Wedding Invitations!

Ali and I have just finished assembling our wedding invitations! It was quite the process. From choosing the designs to choosing the wording, Ali hand lettering each envelope, to finally the 8 part assembly process. It's both a bit exciting and unnerving to say it's done.
I should also mention that I had very little to do with the decisions. My fiance, Ali killed it on this project!
We ordered our invitations through Jupiter and Juno. They do this really cool thing each month where they send out 3, 50% off codes for their Product of the Month. We were lucky enough to get 1 of those 3 codes when we ordered ours! If you don't receive one of the codes, they also offer codes for 30% off as well. Huge budget helper!
